That's life

Everything is moving pretty fast as school gets closer. We are all dragging our feet and trying to cram all our activities in these next few weeks. 

 We had a shower for our good friend Caroline. Her big day is so close, I can't wait to see what a beautiful bride she will make and how God will be glorified through their marriage.

I got to help shoot a coming home of an adoption with my boss. I can't post them all now but here one :) The kids loved the balloons that were waiting for them and watching them was adorable.

So I have plenty of stuff I really should be doing instead of blog work but I am too excited about the designs my friend Laura did for me not too. 

For the header I told myself I wouldn't go "that green" buuuut when it came down to I am obsessed with green and there is nothing to be done about it. For the watermark we worked with my old one because I wanted to keep the leaf and just made it new.

I have been shooting a lot lately but it is stuff that I have to share with the families before I can with ya'll so when my friend Caitlin agreed to a quick shoot AND I was allowed to post them my day was made.

I am always so jealous when folks can pull off serious expressions and not look crazy or mad. Caitlin does them perfectly and you can't tell by how comfortable she looks but it was miserable hot. Like I think I got a sunburn.

We found some old tractor tires and pieces. Possibly my coolest discovery yet.

Okay now I really need to go to work.

My boss' son was baptized yesterday. Seeing someone so young come to understand the love of Christ was a great thing. 

Tyler installed headlights on our golf cart and since I am useless in a situation like that I took photos around the house.

Still Pouring

Personally, I love rain. And thunderstorms. But I do pray that no one is in danger over this weather. Several people have had their house's flood which is quite scary.
After dinner last night Tyler and I went to locks to look around and shoot.

Oh, I miss vacation :)

This was a Forth of July 

So Much To Do....

We got back in from Destin last night and there was storm when I got home so I stayed up and did a quick edit of some of my favorites to share.

And because I realize I haven't updated the list

• Go to the beach often - Three down, at least 1 to go
• Go fishing often -doing good 
• Stone mountain (Tyler needs to see some Georgia pride)
• Go camping/hammocking often 
• Don't say "no" to day trips
• Go to Artsy Me
• Work on the Arrangement of my room specifically the walls (I've acquired some great pieces that need to be hung)
• Take pictures every week
• Blog Once a week ... uhhhhh
• Try restaurants I have never been to
• Spend as much time as possible with Chatt Community
• Get involved with some local mission work with Chatt
• Spend time with my girls
• Go see Hannah
• Maybe see Stephen
• Find photo contests and enter them
• Work for Serse a lot
• Work on some art
• Wear baseball caps (I own several but never wear them I need to put some use to them)
• Go to sporting events, whether its the Braves or Little League
• Watch Harry Potter and Downton Abbey 
• Get back on the Lifestyle Wagon ( I miss the less posed pictures :(  )
• Finish Updates to blog
• Go to the Big Mo
• Back up pictures to my hard drive and CDs (I am always doing this, it's a never ending battle worse than laundry)
• Grill out with friends instead just going to restaurants all the time
• Find my black and white photography book, and go through it again
• Wear something besides athletic shorts once a week (If that happens to be Sunday so be it)
• Find opportunities to wear my Keens
• Go to the Morris Museum of Art
• Go to any other museum I can find
• Basically, Find Something Fun to do and Do It.

Well, I still have a lot to do...

But the good news is, I am now officially going to school for Graphic and Media Design I am pumped :)

Forth of July is coming up so I am listening to a lot of Patriotic themed music. 

This particular song was shared with me by a friend who is constantly trying to make me "seem cool so I can only assume my usual musical habits do not portray that. But this song has Kiss in the video and I find Katy Perry to be adorable. And the song is catchy.
