Kinetic Typography

In my classes we have been watching a lot of kinetic typography videos to make us pay more attention to fonts and using them effectively.

I also enjoy these simply because I really like to read and the videos allow you to focus on just the words.

This one so far has been my favorite. I am a fan of Stephen Fry anyway but I had never hard this clip before.

This man is amazing with words (his accent doesn't hurt) I wish I could verbally express myself this well but this blip also helped me to remind that hopefully no matter how much I excel at something, whether it is photography or (doubtful) words, I hope I never use a talent or knowledge to tear down others or make myself seem more important/smart. I hope I'm always using my gifts to build those around me up.

Twinning

This is 100% my new favorite shoot. Emily and Michael are twins and about to graduate. They are also polar opposites. But their family farm house provided the coolest backdrop ever and their unique personalities were able to be perfectly represented.

Biltmore

We got the chance to go to the Biltmore this weekend with some friends and it was perfect. The weather was great and it wasn't terribly crowded. 

I don't think Tyler fully knew what to expect there so it was fun to watch him be absolutely enthralled by it. His inner engineer had a field day imagining how it was built.

While the size of the Biltmore how is colossal you still have to pay attention to the details of everything.

I like being a creeper and watching people watch :)

Here is a overly exposed shot of what they were looking at that I never got a chance to reshoot because an adorable newly engaged couple asked me to take their photo and then I totally forgot about this.

This place is just beautiful. Visiting has to become a regular thing  for us.

Better Late Than Never

I haven't been on here so long I almost forgot my password... so sad. But I am busy in the best way possible. I love my new school, I get to design and create for a grade and it's fantastic. My job responsibilities have been upped and I enjoy having new challenges to figure out with my new schooling and Google. So basically I've given up on the whole idea of sleep...

Buuut one week ago my friend Lindsay was married. I got to be in the wedding and it was truly one of the funnest weddings I have ever been to. Possibly because Lindsay threatened that people who made her cry weren't going to be allowed to eat, people got happy really fast.

Anyway, here's her bachelorette weekend that was umm, you know a month ago.
